おしゃら は、二〇二〇年に熊本県水俣市よりはじまったジュエリーブランドです。ジュエリーの素材となる梶の木・楮（カジノキ・コウゾ）という樹の皮を野山で採取するところから、草木染めをするところまで、そのすべてを手仕事で行っています。　

おしゃら は、水俣に古くから伝わる森の神さまのつかい（精霊）を指し、彼らが森で身にまとっていた装身具や姿を想像して作品をつくっています。草木が贈ってくれるこの瞬間の色やかたち、私たちがいつしか忘れてしまった山や海とのつながり、大地を愛おしくおもう気持ちを宝物にして贈ります。


OCIARA is a jewelry brand that started in Minamata City, Kumamoto Prefecture in 2020. The jewelry is made by hand from collecting the bark of the paper mulberry, which is the material used to make the jewelry, in the fields to dyeing it with plants and trees.

OCIARA refers to the ancient Minamata forest gods' messengers (spirits of the forest), and I create my work by imagining the ornaments they wore in the forest. I present them as treasures of the colors and shapes of the moment, the connection with the mountains and the sea that we have somehow forgotten, and our feelings of love for the earth, which the plants and trees present to us.
